Can workers clock in without internet?+
The app requires an internet connection to clock in so the timestamp and location are verified in real time. However, workers can submit manual entries later if they were in a no-signal area — subject to admin approval.
What if a worker forgets to clock out?+
WorkSite sends automatic push notifications reminding workers to clock out at the expected end of their shift. Supervisors can also manually mark a clock-out from the web dashboard.
Does location tracking drain the battery?+
Location is only checked at the moment of clock-in and clock-out — it does not run continuously in the background. This means minimal battery impact compared to always-on GPS tracking apps.
Can a supervisor mark attendance for workers who don't have a phone?+
Yes. Supervisors can log into the web dashboard or the supervisor view and manually mark clock-in and clock-out for any worker on their site.
